“I sing in my church choir. I am a social work professional working with veterans in Western PA. I’m an active volunteer in the Allegheny County community. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4040, first black, female commander 2023-2024. Along with being a creative visual artist, I perform and create audio/visual multimedia art. I help people during the day and  poetry helps me in so many ways. It has helped me heal and has given me a voice!”
