Nate Hadley crafts songs that feel like stories passed down through generations—raw, honest, and untold. A folk singer-songwriter based in Winchester, VA, he has been making a lasting impression from the Virginias to the Carolinas, forging deep connections with audiences through his evocative storytelling and intimate performances.
Born and raised in West Virginia, Hadley recently returned home, rediscovering his roots and reigniting his passion for folk and Americana. Influenced by artists like Tyler Childers, Noah Kahan, Jason Isbell, and The Lumineers, he blends Appalachian grit and raw acoustic instrumentation with a modern sensibility, highlighting the honest nature of the genre. With a voice that carries both tenderness and strength, he bridges past and present, weaving personal narratives into melodies that feel both familiar and new.
His debut EP, Burn My Heart, is a deeply introspective collection of five tracks exploring young love, loss, and self-acceptance. Each song is a thread in a larger tapestry, shaped by personal reflection and difficult truths. Released on December 27th, with singles “Who You Were” and the title track already gaining traction, the record has begun resonating throughout the Appalachians and beyond. Recorded at Gat3 Studios with Grammy-winning engineer Glenn Tabor and National Gospel Studio Musician of the Year David Johnson, the EP delivers a sonically rich and immersive experience.
Hadley has brought his music to stages across the East Coast, opening for acts like Driftwood and Abe Partridge and performing at renowned venues such as Richmond Music Hall and The Purple Fiddle. With each performance, he continues to build a loyal following, drawn to the raw emotion and authenticity in his songs, as well as his compelling vocal delivery.
