Cairo Jag
Cairo Jag is a 3-piece, psych rock and roll band from Indianapolis, IN. Forming in 2017, they quickly became a local staple in Indianapolis’ eclectic music scene. Overlapping influences that derive from punk, rock, soul and psychedelic music from the past and present, they’ve created their own brand of unhinged rock and roll.
Traveling internationally and throughout the Midwest, the band continues to make a name for themselves while currently working to release their first full length studio LP planned for the summer of ‘26 (via Romanus Records). They have shared the stage with the likes of The Gories, Frankie and The Witch Fingers, Hooveriii, LA Witch, Snooper, Mike Watt, Night Beats, Death Valley Girls, Warmduscher, Powerplant, JJUUJJUU and more.
Some of their more notable gigs include headlining the Back Alley Ballyhoo ‘22 festival to an over cap. room of 300. Headlining Saalpartie (Germany) to approx. 700 people and saving the day at Misty Fields (Netherlands) while the main stage was out of power. Delivered a blistering set to approx. 3000 people.
They continue to play larger regional bills, out of state, and be featured on local radio stations including an in-studio performance on WFYI/NPR and have had a feature episode of Music In Transit.
