Performing together since 2018, The Erly has released four studio albums, including the newest in their catalog, an 11-track americana rock album called ‘Salem Lights’ (9/4/24). Featuring each member on lead vocals, it contains narrative-driven lyrics that paint southern-gothic landscapes amongst emotional, rootsy playing. Born out of a jam sesh with intent to create demos in Gleason’s basement, ‘Salem Lights’ evolved into a completed body of work. Produced by Paul Bennett, the band describes the album as, “No metronome, all the microphone bleed you can get, and the true sound of The Erly working together in their natural state.” Though this album finds The Erly at their most relaxed, they are no strangers to creating a jam-adjacent live performance.
