Perry-House presents: Boris and The Joy is a one man band featuring Boris Pelekh from Gogol Bordello and consisting of an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar, some pedals, an amp, and a bass drum. The name sums up the act quite well. Pelekh’s soulful eyes and voice from songs such as “Your’s Is a Face From a Dream“ contrasts with the angst of “Vultures,” and fills the void necessary for a full piece band. The NYC based Soviet born composer and multi instrumentalist, widely known as Gogol Bordello’s guitarist for the past 8 years, has played around the world with some of music’s finest, and has stories to share. His solo EP, I See It Now was released in July 2022.
